  2. Raiders "Shrines"

    Northern California

    • Ricky's Sports Theatre and Grill
      15028 Hesperian Blvd.
      San Leandro, California  94578
      (510) 352-0200
      http://www.rickys.com/
Sports bar frequented by diehard fans and, at times, players. By far the best known shrine of all, with Raiders photos and memorabilia lining the walls. If you only have time and/or money to visit one spot, this is that spot. Call for directions.

    • Vella's Locker Room
Castro Valley, Fremont, Pleasant Hill, and Milpitas, California.
      1-866-JVELLAS (866-583-5527)
      http://www.vellaslockerroom.com/
Click here for locations and directions.
This four-store chain is owned by former Raider John Vella. Directions to the Castro Valley store: take I-880 toward Alameda and take the Castro Valley exit, then take the Castro Valley Blvd exit. John is sometimes there in the early morning, and his father is around most of the time.
Note:  Renamed from "Raiders Locker Room" in April 2003 as part of settling a trademark infringement lawsuit brought by NFL Properties, Inc. and the Oakland Raiders.

    California (including Southern)

    • The Raider Image
Chain of 12 stores throughout Northern and Southern California.
The team's official stores. Click for locations.

    Mississippi

    • Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame
      Jackson, Mississippi
Has a 5-8 minute video highlight reel of Ray Guy (unfortunately, emphasizes his college kicking exploits a bit more than his Raider work).
