Pirate Desktop Theme horizontal rule

If you're a Raiders fan who's big on the pirate motif and you use Win95/98 or later, I've come across a great, FREE pirate desktop theme package.

To use it you must have, at a minimum, both Windows 95 and Microsoft Plus!, or Windows 98 (which includes Plus!), installed. Stated another way, your Windows installation must include desktop theme support. This is also a high color (16-bit color) package, meaning your video card must be able to display more than 256 colors.

The zipfile is approximately 770Kb in size. For downloading instructions, send an e-mail to 'webmaster (at) vertgame (dot) com' with 'pirate desktop' as the subject. You should get an automated reply. If for some reason you don't, let me know.

Oh, by the way . . .  if Al Davis and/or the Raiders sue you for infringing on their pirate theme, by sending me the e-mail request for instructions you agree in advance to hold harmless and indemnify me for pointing you to the file.  Happy

Note:  Please do not ask me how to use ftp, or unzip a file, or any other computer questions . . . any such e-mail will be ignored. Ask a friend, call your provider's tech support, do a Google search (you'd be amazed how many tutorials there are on the Web), or—best of all—buy yourself a copy of The Internet for Dummies (which, despite the humorous title, is an excellent beginner's reference book).
