Raiders free agents | 2005 Raiders draft picks

The 2005 NFL college draft was held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York on the weekend of April 23-24, 2005. This order includes Compensatory Selections (for free agents lost after the conclusion of the prior season), which were awarded to clubs at the bottom of Rounds 3-7 during the Spring owners meetings in Maui.

We hope this chart isn't unduly confusing. It's designed to let draftniks and personnel freaks see what happens/happened with draft picks and traded players. Feedback is welcome; use the link at bottom of page.

Source(s):  NFL.com, Great Blue North Draft Report, Ourlads, Associated Press, Yahoo! Draft, NFL Draft Countdown.  I took 40-yard times from Scott Wright's "NFL Draft Countdown" site because they seemed to track what I read about the combine workouts, for example, whereas Sports Xchange (the NFL provider) shows uniformly very slow times. A concrete example: it was widely reported that CB Fabian Washington was timed in anywhere from 4.25 to 4.29 at the Combine, but the best the Sports Xchange could come up with was 4.48. BS!
